Wallpaper can make much more of a statement than paint alone. With so many beautiful choices, why not play up a dining room or powder with more personality.

Bold wallpaper works well in rooms not used to often such as powder rooms or guest quarters. Some choices are a large scale damask or metallic.

In rooms you spend more time in like a master bedroom, consider more understated choices. Consider metallic on a ceiling. The light is reflected and gives the room a beautiful glow.

Your Environment

When deciding on a fabric for a piece of furniture, think in terms of longevity of each piece and how often it will be used. In a family room look for durable fabrics in chenille and durable textures that can take the wear and tear of an active family. Bring in color through the use of bold pillows still being mindful of the wear and tear they will endure.

Here is a cozy little bathroom that reminds me of the one in our Swiss Hotel Room during our honeymoon stay.

When using fabric for seating in a bathroom use terrycloth. Terrycloth is also very suitable for poolside or spa seating.
